Title: Fantastic Family Stay
My wife says that it would have been great if the hotel had a designated play area or activities for children.

The rooms at Welcome 55 were just what our family needed - comfy and air-conditioned with all the essentials like a fridge, kettle, and flat-screen TV. We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony with a view of the sea. The kitchen and dining area were a bonus for us.
I personally wasn't a big fan of the private entrance in our double room. But hey, that's just my opinion.

I recently stayed at Welcome 55 for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The owners, a friendly French man and his Thai wife, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The location of the hotel was perfect, with the night market and the pier just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel also provided delicious French baguettes for breakfast. I had a great stay and would definitely return.
Can just recommend this hotel.

Loved the central location and the option to explore the city by bike. The outdoor pool and massage services were a nice touch. Also enjoyed the delicious continental breakfast and the drinks at the bar.
What a shame that the shower was broken and I only had warm/hot water. How inconvenient.

Welcome 55 in this charming seaside town could not have been more delightful. Giles and his Thai wife Pat welcomed us like long-lost friends, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. the hotel's central location, just a short walk from the night market and the beach, made it incredibly convenient. We loved taking a dip in the warm, magnificent waters and exploring the delicious restaurants that surrounded us. With its comfortable accommodations and warm atmosphere, Welcome 55 is definitely a top choice if you're seeking some Winter sun in this wonderful destination. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.

The service from the owners was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Despite the rainy days, we could still enjoy sitting under the awning and watching the traffic go by. the hotel's location was convenient, with a short 4-minute walk to the pier and market, offering plenty of things to see and do within walking distance.
The parking situation was a bit hectic, with odd and even day restrictions, which made it a hassle. the room that was advertised as having an ocean view turned out to have a wall of the building next door just a meter away, giving a claustrophobic feeling.

This budget hotel offers a great location, with easy access to the main beach, the pier, and various attractions within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The friendly owners provided exceptional service and a delicious breakfast, including fresh French baguettes. The hotel also boasts a welcoming atmosphere and daily room cleaning.
There seems to be some false advertising about the ocean view and beachfront properties, which may disappoint some guests.
